A short & positive message from EveAnna Manley to all our friends and members of the Manley family:
While our industry is not considered "essential" per se, we do appreciate that MUSIC is such a vital source of comfort to so many people around the world. We are honored to be able to provide both audiophile playback equipment and music creation tools to those in need of an extra dose of humanity & art while sequestered.
We may also be of service to the world in producing some kind of medical equipment, and we stand by at-the-ready to help save lives, should we be called up. We have our hat in that ring.
We do have most products in stock, both pro gear & hi-fi, and shipping companies are still working.
We are taking our employees' safety very seriously, and we have a staggered shift, hyper-minimal crew working at the factory to keep supply available while observing strict prohibitions on visitors with increased diligence about hygiene / disinfectant / masks / gloves / protection & separation. They are not occupying the same rooms / areas of the factory at all, and are disinfecting door handles, surfaces, and incoming boxes… and the gear itself, of course.
My amazing & positive crew has been following mask-hygiene-disinfectant-exclusion-separation procedures since March 1, 2020, and everyone is still healthy. We got on this early.
We have kits of parts being staged for our production workers to assemble units at home. We will do everything we can to accommodate demand, although our lead times may increase.
Daily deliveries are being received, disinfected, and brought into the factory.
The Engineering team is working from home, as are sales, marketing, logistics and bookkeeping.
The Service Team is working from home too; far, far away in a remote area of Arizona. He is a hermit anyway! Address Paul as usual from the MANLEY SERVICE REQUEST FORM and always include the product serial number in your correspondence.
The Service Team is also covering any Parts requests, though we have also been directing customers to seek commonly available generic replacement parts from larger commercial suppliers such as www.newark.com, www.digikey.com, or www.mouser.com as well as www.amazon.com to ease the demand of our skeleton crew.
Some generic replacement tubes can be sourced from other suppliers such as www.tubedepot.com and www.thetubestore.com.
Gamma, our COO, comes in to the factory after other workers have left to test microphones, work on outgoing shipments and more.
Our minimal crew working in separation throughout our 12,000 sq ft facility is probably safer in the factory than at a grocery store!
We appreciate your support, now more than ever, and we'll do our best to support you – this is a two-way street.
